We seeningly lack compassion to those who can't hang long enough to understand us or put in the work to experience our inner personalities. The people who want to fully experience us, they try to keep our attention and they receive our compassion because we now have a vested interest.

Don't get me wrong, I have compassion for people in the general sense, but I cannot say that when I meet a person they can expect to receive (or even deserve) my immediate compassion. People commonly think this should be the case, but everything in life can't be easy. I may not be society's brand of nice, but I'm definitely deeper than a puddle and feel that my attention (and compassion) should be given out accordingly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
